Day 2 - 9:30pm KOA campground just outside the Badlands, South Dakota

Well, we made it to the Badlands after another long day driving.  Along the way we saw all of South Dakota, thousands of bales of hay, the World Famous Corn Palace, and crossed the Missouri River.  We had a brief sunset drive into and back out of the Badlands to reach our campground which was an exciting end to our long day.  It is cool 80 degrees this evening in Interior, South Dakota where we are camped.  The mosquitos are out in force but it is a beautiful clear night and I am hoping to sneak out for some star gazing later.  Tomorrow morning we go back into the Badlands for some hiking and then on to the Mount Rushmore area for more fun and adventure.
