Day 3 - 10pm Custer, South Dakota

We finally made it to the campground, later than planned and after dark.  Not the preferred way to pull in but what do you do...We spent several hours in the Badlands this morning then a stop at the World Famous Wall Drug and finished the day with a 3 hour tour at Reptile Gardens.  We left Reptile Gardens about 8 and the 1/2 hour drive to the campground turned into a 1 1/2 scenic drive through winding back roads, chasing a steam locomotive and dodging dozens of deer along the way.  We are all tired and hungry so dinner and sleep is on the agenda for the remainder of the evening.
