The weather here in San Diego is about as perfect as it gets, at least it was today. Mid to low 70s and sunny blue skies. Warm in the sun but perfect in the shade with a nice breeze.
The boys swam here in the pool this morning and I did some laundry. After lunch we packed a bag and took off for the beach via walking, trolley and bus we made it no problems. You can ride the public transit system here for $5/day, pretty much anywhere you need to go. The beach was awesome, same great weather and the crashing waves of the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Lots of people with surf boards and body boards, playing frisbee, tossing balls, playing in the waves. The boys loved playing in the waves. We ate dinner at Tony Roma's down on the beach and then took the bus, trolley, walk back to the Park. The people of San Diego are surprisingly friendly and struck up several conversations along our way.
Tomorrow we plan the San Diego Zoo. Should be fun!
