The boys and I are now in Carpinteria, CA a little beach town halfway between Ventura and Santa Barbara. We got in pretty late last night and just relaxed in the room. This morning it is cool and cloudy:( not a great beach day which is what we had planned. Not sure what plan B will be but breakfast at IHOP and swimming in the pool here at the motel will be on the list. We may still drive up to Santa Barbara and walk around or to Ventura for the county fair. Does anyone have any suggestions???
Mom and Dad made it to Yuma, AZ last night. They were camped in an RV park for the night. Dad said they stopped at a Walmart and it was 114*...yikes!!
The Wifi will be limited for the rest of our trip so posting pics may not be as frequent. I can write text posts from my phone so I will keep everyone updated:)
